About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Embassy West Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Accompany residents on outdoor recreational activities, promoting socialization and engagement
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring residents receive nutritious and delicious meals
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment
  • Assist with transportation, ensuring residents arrive safely at appointments and activities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of belonging
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
