Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to apply analytical tools to drive improvements in pricing, inventory health, forecasting, and sales opportunity conversion. This role will identify and prioritize greatest opportunities to leverage NSK Americas data to drive business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze aftermarket demand and develop plans for North America on A&B items.
  • Support demand planning in Central and South America.
  • Set service level targets for inventory.
  • Monitor and adjust forecasts to targets.
  • Liaise with BCD functions for suggested ordering.
  • Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages, e.g. R, Python, SQL.
  • Lead through curiosity and continuous improvements.
  • Technical experience with Data Visualization Tools, e.g. Tableau, PowerBI.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field is desired.
  • This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 1-2 years of position-related experience; preferably 2 to 4 years of position-related experience.
  • Excellent team-player with ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (e.g. regression, probability distributions, statistical tests) and experience with applications.
  • A drive to learn new techniques and technologies as needed to achieve business goals.
  • Demonstrated experience applying data science methods to real-world data problems.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, able to report and present findings.
