Collision Repair Technician

Basco Collision Centre is seeking an experienced Collision Repair Technician - Body Shop Specialist to join our team in auto body repair. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week with a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
Job Description:
- We are looking for someone with strong technical skills and attention to detail to test drive vehicles, clean and maintain work spaces, instruct apprentices, and perform complex repairs on front end components, body components, doors, frame, and underbody components.
- You will also be responsible for filing, grinding, and sanding body surfaces, masking and taping auto body surfaces, hammering out dents, buckling and defects, removing damaged fenders, panels, and grills, repairing or replacing interior components, operating soldering equipment, and straightening bent frames using specialized equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years or more of experience in the auto body repair industry.
- A certificate or diploma in a related trade, such as collision repair or auto body technology.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and materials.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
