Design Thinking at the University of Ottawa:
As a Professor of Design Thinking, you will lead our faculty in teaching and researching human-centered design principles and practices. With expertise in business innovation, product development, and customer experience, you will drive our academic programs and contribute to the university's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach courses on design thinking, innovation, and creativity.
- Conduct research in design thinking, business innovation, and human-centered design.
- Advise students and faculty on design thinking best practices.
- Collaborate with industry partners on design thinking projects.
Requirements:
A PhD in Psychology or a related field with a thesis relevant to design thinking is preferred. Three to five years of industry experience demonstrating mastery of current practice and theory in design thinking is required. Expert knowledge of management practices related to business innovation, product development, and customer experience is essential.
