About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at First Transit Canada. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, while also maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the bus is clean and organized, and that all necessary safety equipment is in good working order.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and parents, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is safe and roadworthy.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve driving skills and knowledge of safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Ability to pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks.
