Early Childhood Educator/Assistant Role

At BrightPath Kids Canada, we are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator/Assistant to join our team in a casual position. As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with teachers and families to provide a nurturing environment for children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with instruction in the classroom to promote learning and development.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.
  • Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities and promote social skills.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families to ensure a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of cleanliness and organization of classroom materials to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Requirements:

  • High School/Equivalent required, Early Childhood Assistant Certification, or Registered Early Childhood Educator.
  • Must meet province requirement for childcare employment.
  • Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR.
  • Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements.
  • Experience in planning and implementing programs.
