Job Title: Bar ManagerJob Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bar Manager to lead our Bar section, ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and fan service to all guests. As a key member of our Management team, you will oversee and lead the Bar team, maintaining high standards of quality, service, safety, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Bar team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and fan service.
  • Supervise, train, develop, and motivate the Bar team to achieve high standards of quality and service.
  • Resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively, ensuring the smooth operation of the Bar.
  • Ensure compliance with all related regulations, including Health & Safety and AGCO.
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Carry out administrative functions, including hiring, scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, mentorship, corrective actions, and discipline.
  • Act as an ambassador for e11even and our community.
  • Adhere to e11even's service standards and policies.
  • Inventory controls and maintain budgets and monitor costs.
  • Oversee planning of events and initiate and maintain vendor relationships.
Qualifications
  • Strong food service background and experience as a manager/supervisor of F&B in a hotel, restaurant, or events-based venue.
  • Beverage program management experience, including strong knowledge in cocktail development, ordering, inventory control, spirits, and beer, as well as some level of wine certification.
  • Leadership experience in a high-volume food service environment and trained in W.H.M.I.S., Smart Serve, NFSTP, ServSafe, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding and practical knowledge of Industry principles and service etiquette.
  • Ability to communicate, motivate, and lead effectively, with a proactive approach toward day-to-day activities and shifting demands.
  • P & L knowledge and ongoing awareness, with the ability to perform well under pressure and balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
