K & H Tile Inc is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and physically fit individual to install tiles in various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with different types of tiles, including marble and granite, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for tile installation by measuring, marking, and cleaning.
- Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
- Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
- Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
- Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
- Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in tile installation.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights.
The successful candidate will work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses.
What We Offer- Permanent full-time position.
