We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team at Northcan Construction Ltd. as a Site Superintendent, Construction.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and organize daily construction operations to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to achieve project goals.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of construction activities.
- Develop and manage construction schedules, milestones, and progress reports.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, revisions, and changes to contractual agreements.
- Review blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Oversee the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to stakeholders.
- Direct, control, and evaluate daily construction operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Word.
- Bondable and basic security clearance.
- Own vehicle for transportation.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a focus on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
