Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Michael Garron Hospital. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, consultation, and education to patients, family members, and the interprofessional team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment and consultation services to patients and families
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in program development and evaluation
  • Attend regular team meetings and contribute to decision-making
  • Liaise with community-based providers and advocate for clients and families
  • Participate in interprofessional patient and family conferences as needed

Requirements

  • Registration and licensure with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Recent experience in acute care hospital-based medicine and geriatric care
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Motivated to practice in accordance with the mission and vision of Michael Garron Hospital
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development
