Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maître d' Hotel to join our team at Club de Golf Lotbinière. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Answer customers' questions regarding menu items and preparation methods, providing detailed and accurate information to enhance their dining experience.
  • Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience.
  • Manage the dining room efficiently, ensuring that tables are turned over promptly and that service is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure that dishes are prepared to the highest standards and that food is delivered to the table in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and control the flow of customers, ensuring that the dining room is running smoothly and that customers are not waiting excessively for service.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently, resolving issues promptly and to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the dining room and kitchen to ensure that they are meeting our high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty, working closely with the management team to achieve our goals.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service, with a strong understanding of menu items and preparation methods.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Fluency in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
