Strategic Planning and Reporting Leader

Key Responsibilities

The Strategic Planning and Reporting Leader will provide strategic and operational guidance and direction in developing and implementing the framework for organizational planning and reporting in Fraser Health. This includes building and connecting organizational planning capabilities, designing and coordinating effective planning and evaluation processes, and developing quality, integrated plans and reports that serve Fraser Health, Ministry of Health, and public needs.

Leadership and Collaboration

The Leader will lead the development of organizational plans and reports, including Objectives and Key Results, Service Plan, Annual Service Plan Report, and progress reports. They will facilitate key executive decisions, engage partners in identifying strategic and operational priorities, and develop plans and facilitate review and approval processes. The Leader will also partner with clinical and corporate departments to develop annual and strategic plans that align with provincial and Fraser Health priorities.

Communication and Analysis

The Strategic Planning and Reporting Leader will develop, record, assess, and communicate the organization-wide perspective of major initiatives and changes underway through the corporate Change Registry. They will provide comprehensive analysis and reports to Executive and Ministry on corporate and provincial priorities, and provide strategic and organizational planning and reporting knowledge and leadership to other members of the ODPT team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Health, Business Administration, or a related discipline, supplemented by strategy development or project or change management training. They will have ten years' recent planning, evaluation, or strategic transformation experience, including policy analysis/development, project/program/portfolio management, management consulting, and the supervision of others.
