About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill and Chill. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with scanners.
  • Area of Specialization: Accounting.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, own vehicle, and willing to travel.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and work under pressure.
