Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team for an initial 6-month contract. The successful candidate will work on a hybrid schedule with 1 day per week spent in office in Toronto and the remaining time worked remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade Operations Support: The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing trade operations, including validation, investigation, analysis, and resolution of complex requests.
- Escalation Management: They will act as the first point of contact for escalations from Business Partners and Clients, ensuring timely resolutions and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Procedure Maintenance: Our Financial Analyst will maintain compliance with internal controls and procedures, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Wall Street Back Office Support: They will work closely with Wall Street to facilitate trade confirmations, payments, and interactions with overseas traders, leveraging their knowledge of FX Matching systems, including FXALL, Misys, GTSS WSS, and IBTSS.
- Workflow Monitoring: Our team member will monitor workflow activities, including exceptional payments, to ensure timely completion, accuracy, and adherence to service level agreements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably with exposure to Wall Street and IWS applications.
- Technical Skills: Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as knowledge of payments and FX matching systems.
