Key Responsibilities
  • Study market reports and sales promotion materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to optimize our purchasing power
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in good condition
  • Review requirements of our establishment to determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, taking into account factors such as quality, price, and availability
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay informed about new products and trends
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a related field
