We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Technologist to join our team at Shuswap Lake General Hospital in Salmon Arm, BC.

About the Role

This permanent part-time position offers an estimated salary range of $36.61 to $45.73 per hour under Wage Schedule B, effective November 22, 2024. The successful candidate will work closely with our supportive team to provide exceptional patient care to Pacemaker patients during clinic appointments and implantation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with experience in performing pacemaker analysis in the O.R., assisting surgeons during implant procedures, and pacemaker programming. Additional duties may include electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter monitoring, and other types of diagnostic cardiac testing and reporting as required.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have completed a recognized diploma program in Cardiology Technology from the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists, along with two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Current registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists is also essential.
