About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician to join our team at RG Henderson, a leading provider of service solutions for the food service industry in Toronto and South-Western Ontario.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing commercial cooking equipment, including coffee machines, toasters, slicers, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens. You will work closely with our customers to provide exceptional service and ensure their equipment is running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Servicing commercial cooking equipment, including coffee machines, toasters, slicers, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens
  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Working closely with our customers to understand their equipment needs and provide solutions
  • Maintaining a high level of technical knowledge and staying up-to-date with industry developments
  • Collaborating with our team to achieve service excellence and drive business growth
Requirements
  • Education in appliance service or a related field is preferred
  • Valid trade license (G3, G2, G1, 313A, Red Seal) is a strong asset but not required
  • Related trade experience is an asset (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding/fabricating, mover, basic construction, etc.)
  • Experience working in the food service industry is preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license with a relatively clean driving record
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, accountable and self-driven
  • Must be available to work overtime and participate in the on-call rotation
