Job Summary:

Ranger Design is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead our procurement strategy and drive cost reduction initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing procurement costs, developing cost reduction strategies, and negotiating contracts with key suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze procurement costs and develop cost reduction strategies to optimize our supply chain.
  • Drive purchasing decisions based on cost analysis and market trends to ensure alignment with our business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Ensure product launches meet financial targets by effectively managing procurement processes.
  • Lead new supplier opportunities to identify and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and create cost estimates to inform procurement decisions.
  • Maintain strategic sourcing relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of procurement experience with a proven track record of cost reduction and supply chain optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills to drive business results.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and SQL to analyze data and inform procurement decisions.
  • Bilingualism is an asset to communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of quality and ISO standards to ensure compliance and excellence.
  • Ability to travel for developing sourcing relationships and collaborating with suppliers.
