Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Engineering Technician to join our team at Shan Construction Services Ltd. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our construction projects by assisting in developing engineering specifications and drawings, preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing Engineering Specifications: Assist in creating detailed engineering specifications and drawings to ensure accurate project implementation.
  • Preparing Construction Documents: Prepare comprehensive construction specifications, cost estimates, and material requirements for projects.
  • Site Surveys and Inspections: Participate in site surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Engineering Designs: Prepare engineering designs and drawings to support project implementation.
Requirements
  • Education: A certificate or diploma in a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Work Site Environment: The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Tasks: The successful candidate must be able to read blueprints, assist in developing engineering specifications, participate in site surveys and inspections, prepare construction documents, and prepare engineering designs.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking are essential requirements.
Additional Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a permanent full-time position, requiring 30-44 hours of work per week. English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
