We are currently seeking skilled Occupational Therapists to join our team in Linsday, Ontario (Peterborough, Bobcaygeon, Campbellford, Little Britain, Cameron, Woodville, Norland, Coboconk, Kirkfield, Seabright, Fenelon Falls, Seagrave, Haliburton West and Haliburton, and Minden Hills).

About the Role

This full-time and part-time opportunity allows our Occupational Therapists to create a schedule that works for them. As an Occupational Therapist with Closing the Gap Healthcare, you will be working with a variety of client conditions, primarily adults but occasionally pediatric referrals. Your integrated approach in therapy services will make a significant impact on the lives of our clients, allowing them to live independently and safely in their homes.

You will be responsible for assessing and building an accurate therapy care plan based on the real environment of our clients. This includes developing health promotion programs, prescribing equipment and supplies, and promoting client safety. Your creativity and adaptability will be essential in providing complex preventative or corrective actions for clients to solve problems that interfere with their ability to do things that are important to them.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and build an accurate therapy care plan based on the real environment of our clients
- Develop health promotion programs, prescribe equipment and supplies, and promote client safety
- Provide complex preventative or corrective actions for clients to solve problems that interfere with their ability to do things that are important to them
- Collaborate with an inter-healthcare team that partners with our client's family members and caregivers to build an inter-discipline, holistic treatment goals and service plans

Requirements

- Graduate of a recognized Post Secondary program in Occupational Therapy
- Current active registration and good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
