We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Practical Nurse to work in various long-term and acute care facilities in the Lion's Head area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide patient care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and within the scope of practice of an RPN.
  • Utilize sound nursing principles to ensure excellent patient care and personal support in assigned areas.
  • Ensure timely admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
  • Manage medications and narcotics safely, adhering to protocols on all shifts.
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to meet physical, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.

Requirements:

  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work with individuals with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR.
  • Proof of current immunizations (MMRV) and negative TB skin test within one year, Hepatitis B.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work flexibly, independently, or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shift times (8-12 hours), float between units, and adhere to RhynoCare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
