Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Manitoulin Transport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods across the country, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including bills of lading, inspection reports, and cargo information.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
