Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at JDKL Enterprises Ltd. as a key member of our food service operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including food preparers, counter attendants, and kitchen helpers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of quality and efficiency.
- Operations Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Customer Service
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
- Team Management
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that all food is delivered to the correct location.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- Experience in a food service environment is an asset.
- Skills
- Efficient interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and manual tasks.
- Security and Safety
- Criminal record check required.
