Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Systems Architect to join our team at TEKTELIC Communications Inc. as a key member of our engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop digital circuits from high-level specifications, collaborating with systems and software teams to create efficient and reliable digital systems.
  2. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver digital systems that meet customer requirements with minimal design cycles.
  3. Develop and maintain design documentation, verification documentation, and support the manufacturing process.
  4. Diagnose and repair returned units, and provide technical support as needed.
  5. Design and develop FPGA designs using HDL and simulation tools.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience designing high and low-speed digital circuits.
  3. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  5. Fluency in English and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
  1. Experience with modern high-speed buses (DDR4, NAND, NOR, Ethernet).
  2. Experience with high-speed SERDES (CPRI, SGMII, etc.).
  3. Experience with Linux scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
  4. Experience in switched mode power supplies.
  5. Experience in design for EMC/EMI and compliance testing.
