Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at The Port Physiotherapy And Massage. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Examination: Assist physiotherapists in assessing patients, conducting examinations, and developing treatment plans.
  • Support Services: Help physical therapists with patient care, maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products, and process files and paperwork.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Office Administration: Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
  • Patient Education: Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients, promoting their recovery and well-being.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring a smooth operation of the clinic.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
