The TELUS Health CSO team manages cyber risks against evolving digital threats and provides industry leading cyber governance, assurance and oversight to secure our data. On the Threat Intelligence team, we specialize in collecting and analyzing data from various sources to identify threats to our business and customers. We focus on transforming raw data and information into actionable intelligence for TELUS Health. By analyzing events, trends and patterns, we identify imminent attacks and anticipate and prevent future ones, ultimately strengthening our overall security posture.

  • Be a part of global threat intelligence capability for TELUS Health as part of a wider CSO transformation program">
  • Conduct threat hunts to identify and track threats impacting TELUS Health">
  • Research and analyze external sources of information to proactively identify and track additional threats to TELUS Health">
  • Produce high-quality, written intelligence products that are relevant, timely, and actionable by the wider TELUS Health CSO team">
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of a Threat Intelligence Platform">
  • Identify tasks which can be automated and develop tools to reduce repetitive analytical tasks">
  • Conduct briefings, as needed, for a variety of TELUS Health stakeholders">
  • Provide intelligence support to various CSO stakeholder initiatives, such as training or special projects">
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of strong relationships with industry partners including peers, law enforcement and government agencies across multiple regions">
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of threat intelligence processes and frameworks">
  • Mentor junior analysts, providing your knowledge and guidance to assist them in continuously elevating their abilities">
  • Conduct peer review of draft reporting for other team members">

Requirements

What You Bring

You will need:

  • ">
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with significant experience drafting reports and delivering briefings for a variety of stakeholders">
  • Significant experience in a threat intelligence role within any sector, including experience conducting collection and analysis using threat intelligence tools and techniques">
  • Significant experience in a (cyber) threat hunting role, including experience developing your own hunting queries and working in a variety of environments">
  • Experience deploying and maintaining a Threat Intelligence platform (TIP)">
  • Experience working with coding languages, including Python, to automate repetitive analytical tasks">
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to quickly conduct assessments of new threats and identify the 'so what' for TELUS Health">
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including those with technical or non-technical backgrounds">
  • The ability to effectively manage your time and work with minimal supervision">
  • The mindset of a continual learner, with a desire to regularly acquire new knowledge and skills to elevate the Threat Intelligence team's capabilities">
