About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Family Clinician to join our team at the Child Development Institute. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering innovative, research-based mental health and early learning programs for children, youth, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer comprehensive psycho-social assessments and develop clinical formulations in collaboration with clients and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead evidence-based and evidence-informed individual, family, and group therapy sessions, monitoring progress and modifying treatment plans as needed.
  • Manage 20-25 case files, ensuring timely and coordinated service delivery, including intake, assessment, transition, and discharge planning.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments, administering child and parent evaluation measures at prescribed intervals and submitting data for analysis to inform treatment planning.
  • Complete reporting, complying with agency and accreditation standards, including report writing, treatment planning, and participation in ongoing professional development and staff meetings.
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related clinical discipline, with registration in good standing with a professional college.
  • At least 1 year of experience in children's mental health, including exposure to working on cases involving adolescent mental health and learning disabilities.
  • Clinical skills in assessment, formulation, and treatment, with the ability to utilize flexible strategies for engaging and working with families, individuals, groups, and larger systems.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience in relevant theoretical approaches, such as trauma-informed treatment, attachment, CBT, and TF-CBT.
