Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Galaxy Movers Regina Ltd. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of trucks to transport goods and materials across different locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles) or equivalent.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A) with a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
