Are you passionate about working with cutting-edge technology to protect and secure data? Loblaw Technology is seeking a skilled Senior Security DevOps Engineer to join our team in Brampton, ON.

As a Senior Security DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, highly available, and scalable cloud infrastructure and applications to support security controls across the enterprise. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that security is integrated into the development and deployment process and that security controls are implemented and maintained throughout the application lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security controls to protect against security threats.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on security procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Automate security processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and standards across the Cloud Security Engineering POD.
  • Collaborate with data solution teams to develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates to automate the provisioning, deployment, and configuration of Snowflake infrastructure resources.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in site Security DevOps Space.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as OCI, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices, principles, and technologies, including encryption, authentication, access control, network security, and cloud security.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with CI/CD and IT automation tools and practices (e.g. Azure DevOps, AWS Code Pipeline/CodeCommit/CodeDeploy, Artifactory, etc.).
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Certified - Professional DevOps Engineer preferred Professional, or Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification preferred.
