Bureau Veritas Canada is seeking a skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our Wolf Lake laboratory team in Cold Lake, Alberta.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various instruments, including ICP, TOC analyzers, and auto-titrators, and performing daily routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain analytical equipment, including ICP and TOC analyzers.
  • Perform quality control and calibration procedures.
  • Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Meet quality and turnaround time (TAT) specifications.
  • Report instrument breakdowns and sample integrity issues.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field (BS, Petroleum/Chemical Technician).
  • Experience as a Laboratory Technician or Analyst.
  • Excellent knowledge of inorganic and/or organic laboratory analysis and ISO certification.
