As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading our fund development efforts and securing significant financial support from individuals, corporations, and foundations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Major Gifts Donor Cultivations and Stewardship
  • Develop and implement comprehensive resource and fundraising strategies to support Habitat for Humanity Niagara's mission and programs.
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with major donors, foundations, corporations, and other potential funding sources to secure significant financial support.
  • Steward and report on major gifts portfolio.
Collaboration, Planning and Leadership
  • Collaborate with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Fund Development Officer to set fundraising goals and objectives and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Develop and manage philanthropy and major gift related budgets with revenue and expense projections, with the approval of the CEO.
Requirements
  1. 5-10 years experience in progressive fundraising with demonstrated success, in the non-profit/charitable sector.
  2. CFRE, and/or relevant post-secondary qualifications.
  3. Post-graduate certificate in fundraising, non-profit management, leadership, or related field an asset.
  4. Experience with major gifts above $10k level and stewardship of accounts.
  5. Experience developing an annual plan to support the strategic revenue target.
