Job Title: Machine Operator - Tower - PTFE

Green Belting Industries is a leader in Teflon/PTFE product quality and service excellence for quality tapes and belts. We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in our Tower department.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Machine Operator to operate and maintain our PTFE production line. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the machine, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain the PTFE production line, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
  • Monitor and control the production process, making adjustments as necessary to meet quality and production targets.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as required.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless production and quality control.
  • Participate in quality control checks and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, quality control, and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a PTFE production environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification an asset.
  • Strong understanding of PTFE production processes and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $20-$21 per hour.
  • Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week.
  • Multiple shifts available: afternoon shift (3 pm to 11 pm) or night shift (11 pm to 6 am).
