About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Securities Settlements team in Toronto. As a key member of our Business and Client Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and controlled operation of securities settlement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a diverse team of operations professionals to ensure the effective execution of securities settlement processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive change and continuous improvement in our settlement processes.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to ensure the alignment of our settlement processes with business objectives.
  • Manage projects within the department that require specialized business and operational knowledge.
  • Provide input and manage to departmental budget objectives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven management experience in securities settlement operations.
  • Extensive experience in securities settlement processes and control functions.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with executive-level management.
  • University degree.
  • Experienced people manager with a track record of developing talent.
  • Strong awareness of operational risk and a mindset towards maintaining and improving control frameworks.
