Job Summary
The ideal candidate will possess experience in real estate law and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will be responsible for analyzing title searches, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving issues related to title insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze title searches from multiple provinces and identify potential issues.
- Provide superior customer service to clients, including lenders, brokers, and law firms.
- Deal with problems or requirements that must be addressed prior to processing, such as notes files, discharge statements, and title issues.
- Review documents with clients and process documentation for signing once all issues have been resolved.
- Complete and verify all mortgage information with clients.
- Prepare documents according to lender requirements, including mortgage documents and title changes.
- Request and review payout statements from other financial institutions.
Requirements
- College diploma in a related field, such as law or business.
- Minimum 1 year experience in real estate law handling files from start to finish.
- Experience with Teraview and Conveyancer software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.
