Superintendent of Corrugated Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to lead our Corrugated Operations team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our corrugated plant, ensuring the highest levels of productivity, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the corrugated plant, including production, quality control, and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
- Lead and manage a team of production supervisors and operators to ensure the efficient operation of the plant.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, scheduling, and shipping, to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of production staff.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as production levels, quality, and safety metrics.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the paper or packaging industry.
- Proven track record of improving productivity, quality, and safety in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
