The RoleThis Technical Sales Support role will be a core member of our Inside Technical Team, primarily responsible for all aspects of our customer's buying experience including sales, support, quotations, order processing, and services.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of the organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with our core values and supports our strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities- Support corporate sales teams with technical and specialist knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
- Generate quotes, process orders, create vendor purchase orders, and handle returns as needed.
- Provide timely acknowledgments and responses to customer inquiries regarding product selection, pricing, availability, and other customer service-related matters.
- Maintain clear communication channels with all involved parties upon task completion.
- Assist in coordinating special events and promotions.
- Identify sales opportunities within assigned geographical areas.
- Utilize CRM systems to track and follow up on cases, opportunities, quotes, proposals, and customer feedback.
- Promote Electrozad Supply through local business communities and industry associations.
- Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors.
- Post-secondary education from a technical program (Electrical, Mechanical discipline) or equivalent experience.
- Previous inside and/or outside sales experience in the electrical industry would be an asset.
- In-depth knowledge of Electrical, Pneumatics, and Automation hardware/software products.
- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate effectively to key stakeholders.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and respect.
- Ability to set and attain goals clearly and effectively.
- Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive business information.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
