About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Helper to join our team at Sein Construction Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist our carpenters in various tasks related to building and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, such as lumber, tools, and equipment.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Structures: Help erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Applying Materials: Assist in mixing and applying materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assisting with Framing and Building: Help frame houses, erect walls, and build roofs.
  • Demolition and Cleanup: Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up construction sites.
  • Removing Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a physically demanding work environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Attention to Detail: You must have attention to detail and be able to follow instructions accurately.
  • Team Player: You will be working as part of a team, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required, as you may be required to transport equipment and materials.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Construction: Experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
  • Manual Dexterity: You should have good manual dexterity and be able to handle heavy loads.
