Job Title: Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Indian Masala Restaurants Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our restaurant facilities, including floors, furniture, and equipment. This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • Stock linen closets and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Provide basic information on facilities and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including picking up debris and emptying trash containers.
  • Mend clothing and linens as needed.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift and move heavy objects.

The primary language of work is English.
