Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Risk Manager to join our Global Analytics team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mathematical models used for market risk and counterparty credit risk (CCR) measurement and capitalization.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with model users to understand their business requirements and conduct research to evaluate best practices for modeling. You will make recommendations on model methodologies and develop technical implementation plans. Your expertise will also be sought after by technology teams for production deployment and validation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with model users to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct thorough research to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement mathematical models for market risk and CCR measurement and capitalization.
  • Work with technology teams to deploy models in production and ensure they meet quality standards.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Broad knowledge of traded products across various asset classes and regulatory & internal risk management requirements for market risk, CCR, and CCAR.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent programming skills, particularly in Python and MatLab.
  • Data management and analysis skills, including proficiency in SQL and Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to achieve team goals and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
