About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Janitorial Assistant at AllStream Janitorial Services Inc. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a dust-free workspace
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable living space
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a hygienic environment
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and clean ride
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train for the role
  • Physically demanding
  • Attention to detail
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Work Environment

This role is based in a cleaning service company environment, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
