Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supermarket Manager to lead our retail store team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and implementing policies to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient store operations
  • Study market research and trends to inform sales strategies and competitor analysis
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, including implementing price and credit policies
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring quality and availability
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to optimize store performance
  • Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure seamless store operations
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily store operations to meet business objectives
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or supermarket environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide staff
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business growth
  • Fluency in English language
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week
