About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to drive our mission forward. As a key member of our team, you'll design and implement robust web applications that push the boundaries of web3 technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Architect and design core product features from conception to deployment, maintenance, and future iterations.
  2. Collaborate with our team to build performant backend systems for serving our core marketplace features.
  3. Think holistically about how our systems fit together from UX to underlying APIs and data models.
  4. Mentor and train other team members on best practices and approaching large ambiguous problems.
  5. Prioritize projects and tasks based on impact, balancing speed and long-term goals.
About You
  1. You have deep knowledge of web technologies and large-scale web application architectures.
  2. You're familiar with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security, and usability.
  3. You have 4+ years of industry experience building scalable and performant production UIs and APIs using a stack similar to React, Typescript, AWS, and Elasticsearch.
  4. You possess strong customer empathy and think critically about how our features impact our community, users, and business.
  5. You enjoy working across Engineering and Design to build user-friendly applications.
  6. You have an interest in the Blockchain space.

The base salary for this position ranges from $120,000/year to $200,000/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. LayerZero is a total compensation company, offering a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
