Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Kidz in the Rockies Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Establish guidelines for behaviour

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • Criminal record check
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral communication
