Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Bouwa Whee Catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
- Production Scheduling: Draw up production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Special Orders: Prepare special orders for customers, including frosting and decorating cakes and baked goods.
- Dental Plan: We offer a comprehensive dental plan to ensure your oral health.

- Work Term: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule.
