Job Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Matrix Labour Leasing Ltd. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and take corrective action
  • Work with safety in mind to minimize workplace incidents
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment diagnosis, repair, and maintenance
  • Civil construction or excavating industry experience is considered an asset
  • Automotive Service Experience is an asset
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal preferred
