The ideal candidate for this position is a compassionate and patient individual who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to providing client-centered care. You will be responsible for facilitating discharge from hospital, convalescence, or rehab, assessing client needs, and developing goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique circumstances.

This is a flexible scheduling opportunity with client-dependent schedules available. The rate of pay for this position ranges from $69.80 to $94.50 per hour, reflecting the importance we place on compensating our caregivers fairly for their expertise and dedication.

Requirements:
  • Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work independently as well as part of a rehabilitation team
  • Ability to work with different personality types
  • Computer skills (i.e. ability to work in MS Word and Outlook)
  • Experience working within the MVA (motor vehicle accident) system
  • Experience providing OT assessment and treatment in a community setting
  • Bilingualism, preferred
