Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing psychological services to individuals with diverse and complex mental health presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using standardized and evidence-based procedures
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating psychological assessment results and working collaboratively with the treatment team
  • Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy interventions, including behavioral and cognitive-behavioral approaches
  • Participate in client conferences and team meetings, communicating pertinent information to all disciplines involved
  • Support an interdisciplinary approach to client care, ensuring coordination of services with community agencies and other healthcare providers
  • Provide consultation to the treatment team, clients, and community personnel on management and treatment of mental, behavioral, and psychosocial disorders
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and appropriateness of treatment and resources, identifying opportunities for change and formulating recommendations for quality improvement
