We are seeking an exceptional Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at The University of British Columbia. As a key member of Dr. Steven P. Miller's research group, you will contribute to groundbreaking cerebellum connectivity projects.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position that requires successful verification of full vaccination against Covid-19. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to design and conduct research studies focused on cerebellum connectivity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Quantitative brain imaging analyses using advanced techniques such as diffusion tensor imaging and functional MRI
- Fostering research collaborations with academic, clinical, industry, and other partners
- Scientifically documenting lab experiments, data analysis, and interpretations
- Contributing to grant preparation, writing manuscripts, and presenting results at internal and external meetings
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A PhD in neuroscience, brain imaging science, or a related discipline within the last three years, or completed postgraduate medical training in Neurology, Pediatrics, or Pediatric Subspecialty within the last three years
- Advanced technical expertise in quantitative brain imaging
- Ability to independently lead complex projects both conceptually and technically
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of British Columbia, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $45,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
