Landscape Worker Job Description

Gaudet Landscaping (2020) Ltd is seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for maintaining our clients' outdoor spaces, ensuring they look their best throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass, rake, and collect refuse to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including snowblowers, chain saws, and small engine equipment.
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units for various projects.
Requirements:
  • Will train, but previous experience in landscaping or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Working Conditions:
  • Work site environment: outdoors.
  • Work setting: urban, rural, and remote locations.
  • Hours of work: 40 hours per week.

  • Language of work: English or French.
