Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assistant to support our Physicians at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Description:

The Clinical Assistant will provide comprehensive support to Physicians with in-patient acute care and Emergency Department care. Duties will include admissions, assisting with rounds, attending to patients in the ED, and liaising with patient's families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Physicians with patient care and admissions
  • Assist with rounds and gather patient information
  • Attend to patients in the ED and generate problem lists
  • Liaise with patient's families and report to the most responsible practitioner

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of current Clinical Assistant theory and practice
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current ACLS & PCLS certification
